Her parents were Franklin Stewart Harris and Frankie Estella Spilsbury. She married Ralph William Jenson on May 21, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Helen Harris Jenson died on June 22, 2003. ~ ~ ~ ~ HER OBITUARY: Helen Harris Jenson died Sunday, June 22, 2003 in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was born December 26, 1915 to Franklin Stewart and Frankie Estella Spilsbury Harris and was raised in Logan and Provo, Utah. She married Ralph William Jenson on May 21, 1936 and lived with her husband in Athens, Georgia; Salt Lake City, Utah; Kensington and Lafayette, California. At her death she was living with her daughter in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Jenson, who died in 1988, and by a grandson, Loren Jenson, who died in 2001. She is survived by four children: Janet Jenson of Spanish Fork, Utah; Richard (Barbara)Jenson of Yucaipa, California; David William (Deedee)Jenson of Pleasant Hill, California; and John Robert (Kristen) Jenson of Bothell, Washington. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Laura (Joe) Quisito, Brad (Kelly) Jenson, Lila Jenson, and Sarah Jenson. Private family services were held and interment was at Sunset View Cemetery, El Cerrito, California. They had 3 children, including Geraldine Miller (Forest Junior Squire), born in 1928, Barbara Ann Miller (Robert Earl Bradshaw), born on February 22, 1930, and James Harris Miller (Jacquelin Rose Williams & Virginia "Ginger" _____), born circa 1937, all three born in Pinal County, Arizona. Inez passed away on February 6, 1977, at age 77 in Mesa, Arizona. Her interment was in Mesa, Arizona. Leonard J. Miller died on April 3, 1979, in Mesa, Arizona. His interment, Mesa, Arizona.

Kirkham of Murray Utah, and Avonda G. Jensen of Sandy Utah. Leah grew up in Provo, Utah and attended BYU training school, graduating from BY High School in 1935 as valedictorian in a class of 39 students. She attended BYU, earning her tuition working on campus. She graduated in 1939 with an AB degree. Leah first dated her future husband on Friday, May 13, 1938. Her husband proposed to her on Friday, September 13, 1940, and they were married Friday, December 13, 1940. After her marriage, she lived in Salt Lake City, Portland Oregon, Seattle Washington, Spokane Washington, Los Angeles California, West Covina California, Baldwin Park California, Butte Montana, Pocatello Idaho (48 years), Logan Utah (3 years), and Bountiful Utah (2 months). Leah served her entire married life in the Sunday School, Primary and Relief Society organizations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She received the Silver Beaver award for her scouting service in 1976. She was a member of the North Bannock County Camp of the Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers and served as camp president from 1987 to 1993. She was a member of the Pocatello Literary Club. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at the Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful Utah. Interment, Ephraim City Cemetery. [Deseret News, Sunday, August 26, 2007.]

Born January 12, 1915 in Provo, Utah to Ole Van Harris and Annie May Perry. Married John Raymond Erickson on July 6, 1940. Later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple September 11, 1967. Muriel graduated from Brigham Young Academy [Note: Brigham Young Academy ceased to exist in 1903 -- this is obviously a reference to Brigham Young High School, Class of 1932], then worked as a teletype operator for postal telegraph. She was a generous, sensitive and caring mother who loved flowers, animals and children. She is survived by her loving husband, John R. Erickson; and her three children, Sally Stanley, John Erickson, Joan Justis; as well as 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday, February 2, 1996, in Sandy, Utah. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates. University, Book 10, page 22. ~ ~ ~ ~ Sterling Richard Harris. ~ ~ ~ ~ HIS OBITUARY: One of Tooele County's best known citizens, Sterling Richard Harris, died on Saturday, Sept. 12, 1992, of causes incident to age. He was 93 years old. He was born July 24, 1899, in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Dennison Emir and Eunice Polly Stewart Harris. When Richard was five years old, the family moved to Cardston, Alberta, Canada, and later moved to Provo, Utah, where he graduated from BYU High School in 1920 and later attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where he was an all-conference football player, a member of Sigma Chi fraternity, and was later honored by USU as an outstanding alumnus for his life achievements. He taught classes and coached at North Cache High School, and later at Tooele High School for eleven years, during which time his teams won four state championships. He left coaching to become Personnel Director at the Tooele Smelter and Refining Company, following which he served as Superintendent of the Tooele County School District for 25 years, retiring at age 65. His work with youth brought him honor in having an elementary school in Tooele named the Sterling R. Harris Elementary School. His work with youth brought him recognition and respect. He served as bishop and high councilman for many years in the Tooele First Ward Church. Utah State University recognized him as an outstanding alumnus and awarded him an Alumni Merit Citation in 1977. In March 1992, he was honored by the Utah State Legislature for his role in uniting the ``Old Town'' and ``New Town'' sections of Tooele together. As a young man he served in the United States Army during World War I, and served an LDS Mission in the Chicago area. He married Viola Green September 21, 1921, in the Logan LDS Temple; she died in 1951. On October 1, 1953 he married Neva Saville, who survives him, as do two sons, Richard Green Harris and wife, Virginia, Wayne, Pennsylvania; and John Sterling Harris and wife, Sue, Springville; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 17, 1992, in Tooele, Utah. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery. [Published in the Deseret News, Tuesday, September 15, 1992.]

I retired about 12 years ago after having suffered a stroke. I worked for the State of Utah for 32 years." He married Carolyn, and they have three children: Kyle, Kirk, and daughter Sandy. His interment, Provo, Utah. ~ ~ Vaneese second married Franklin Bramwell Woffinden of Provo, Utah, on August 14, 1924. It was his second marriage: he had first married Carrie Eliza Knight on September 12, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents were Newell James Knight and Eliza Stratton Knight. Carrie died in 1920. ~ ~ ~ ~ Vaneese Harris Rowley Woffinden died on November 3, 1967 in El Cajon, California. Her interment, Provo, Utah. Franklin Bramwell Woffinden died in 1968.
