Her parents were Homer Clarence Foote and Olive Lucretia Rose. She married twice: First, to Lovell Albert Killpack, Sr., on June 6, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Second, to Fenton Lyle Williams on February 6, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She died on February 12, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment, Provo, Utah. ~ ~ ~ ~ Her children include Lovell A. Killpack, Jr., [BYH Class of 1943] married Beverly J. Brown; Kenneth L. Killpack [BYH Class of 1949] married Doris Romboy; Weston Foote Killpack [BYH Class of 1954] married Lois Arlene Pope; and Myra Killpack [BYH Class of 1966~Honorary] married Thomas Prince.

Earl Foote married Leila Merle (Merle) Snyder [BYH Classes of 1913 & 1914] on July 11, 1917, in Manti, Utah. T. Earl Foote was a teacher and a farmer. He died on October 12, 1966 in Provo, Utah. His interment, Provo City Cemetery, Utah.

Valera married Edgar Hall (his second marriage) on November 21, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Edgar Hall was born on December 28, 1875 in Enterprise, Morgan County, Utah. His parents were John Kilburn Hall and Rebecca Jane Hales Hall. He died on April 20, 1953 in Provo, Utah. His interment, Provo, Utah. ~ ~ Edgar Hall had first married Helen Olivia Stringer on March 4, 1904. Helen was born on June 27, 1882 in Park City, Utah. She died on April 20, 1917 in Frisco, Beaver County, Utah. ~ ~ Valera Foote Hall died on January 22, 1942 in Provo, Utah. Her interment, Provo, Utah.

Class Unknown. Dorothea Ford. ~ ~ ~ ~ HER OBITUARY: Dorothea Ford Heiner Whipple, 94, passed away July 3, 2001 in Henderson, Nevada. Dorothea was born in Centerville, Utah February 7, 1907, to Albert and Alice Ford. She attended Davis County High School and Brigham Young Academy. [Note: Brigham Young Academy ceased to exist in 1903; therefore, she attended either BYH or BYU.] Later she received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Logan State University in elementary education. Dorothea taught school for 27 years in the Ogden and Roy school systems. Her passion for teaching and the satisfaction she received from her student's eagerness to learn led to a very rewarding career. Dorothea married Orson Heiner in 1928 in the Salt Lake Temple. Following Orson's death in 1934, Dorothea married Columbus Whipple in 1941 blending her family, his family and eventually starting theirs. After their retirement, they enjoyed traveling. She was very proud of the fact that she had driven in all 50 states. Columbus passed away in 1990. She held many positions in the LDS Church and was a visiting teacher in the Lakeview LDS Ward. When the Ogden Temple opened, Dorothea and Columbus were one of the first to be called as ordinance workers and served in this capacity for several years. She loved visiting all her children and their families and making chocolate chip cookies for all to enjoy. Anyone who had the pleasure of dining in her home remembers her rolls and lemon meringue pies. She enjoyed crocheting and making baby quilts for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She moved to Henderson, Nevada, five years ago to live with her daughter, JoAnn and her husband, Sid Morris. As avid Utah Jazz fans, the three of them thoroughly enjoyed the basketball games together. Two sisters, Louise Stoker and Nola Hardy; one brother, Keith Ford and daughter, Gene Tomson, preceded her in death. She is survived by Warner and Tokuko Whipple, Oceanside, California, LaMar and Myrna Heiner, Sun Valley, Idaho, JoAnn and Sidney Morris, Henderson, Nevada, Ecco and Donald Stambaugh, Carlsbad, California, Stephen and Diane Whipple, Hooper, Utah; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 7, 2001 in Roy, Utah. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery. [Deseret News, Saturday, July 7, 2001]

Class of 1968. Larry Ford. ~ ~ ~ ~ HIS OBITUARY: Larry Creed Ford, Sr. passed away in Irvine, California on March 2, 2000. He was born in Provo, Utah on September 29, 1950, to Creed and Gladys Ford. Larry’s many years of education included Brigham Young High School, where he graduated in 1968. Two years later he married his high school sweetheart, Diane Lewis, in the Salt Lake Temple. Larry attended and graduated BYU with honors, earning a degree in Microbiology, and furthered his education at UCLA Medical Center, earning an MD degree in 1975. Larry is survived by the family he supremely loved — his wife and three children, Larry Jr., Scott, and Kerilyn, and his father Creed. Larry was an active researcher and successful physician, securing many patents and treating countless patients and friends. Larry also had a passion for family history and temple work, spending innumerable hours involved with genealogy and serving as a temple worker in the San Diego Temple. Larry has left a legacy of compassion and service and will be sorely missed by the legions of those whose life he has touched. Interment, Provo Cemetery.

University, Book 7, page 78. ~ ~ ~ ~ Karl Emil Fordham was born on October 13, 1887 in Escalante, Garfield County, Utah. His parents were Joseph Elijah Fordham and Emma Barbara Graff Fordham. Karl married Della Lena Frei of Santa Clara, Utah, on September 14, 1910 in St. George, Utah. Her parents were Jacob Frei and Lena Reber Frei. Della died on June 12, 1941 in St. George, Utah. Her interment, Santa Clara City Cemetery, Utah. Following her death, Karl married again, apparently twice, to Pearl Luce and Bertha Lush [?]. ~ ~ Pearl Fordham of California was born on November 22, 1892, and died in January of 1974 in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, California. ~ ~ Bertha Fordham of California was born September 14, 1899 and died in September 1987 while in Europe.~ ~ Karl Emil Fordham died on July 5, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. His interment, Santa Clara City Cemetery, Utah. ~ ~ ~ ~ OBITUARY OF DAUGHTER: Lorna Fordham Christensen died at home surrounded by family members on Oct. 18, 2004 after a long battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 20, 1926 in St. George, Utah, the youngest child of Karl E. Fordham and Della Lena Frei. She graduated from Dixie High School. On Nov. 12, 1944 she married Billy Ray Hughes, later divorced. Lorna lived in Ogden where she attended Weber State College and graduated in cosmetology. She later moved to Salt Lake where she met and married Gerald N. Christensen on July 22, 1986, later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. Lorna loved long walks, gardening, especially her red geraniums. She has been a faithful member of the LDS Church her entire life, serving in numerous callings. She worked as a beautician out of her home for 40 years. Lorna loved to play bridge, was an avid reader, and read thousands of books. Lorna and Gerry enjoyed their monthly dinner group and served a mission together in Argentina, and in the Washington, D.C. Temple. They have taken many wonderful trips and enjoyed a happy life together. She is survived by her husband Gerry; her children, Dr. Dennis (Nancy) Hughes, Kathryn Serrano, Mary (Dale) Kunze; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; her brother Robert (Joyce) Fordham of St. George. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004 in the Millcreek 9th Ward, 4220 So. 420 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. [Deseret News, Thursday, October 21, 2004.]
